Laboratory Services

In the scope of the company, Euro Consult owns a central laboratory for testing of construction materials, i.e. laboratory for geo mechanic, asphalt and concrete. The accredited laboratory for testing of construction materials is equipped with:

  • Modern equipment supplied by the manufacturer Controls-Italy
  • Laboratory equipment for testing of construction material according MKC and EN standards
  • Terrain equipment for testing “in situ”
  • Equipment for extracting of samples for testing of the terrain conditions

By offering geo mechanic, asphalt and concrete testing, the laboratory increases the effectiveness of the control and supervision on quality of incorporated materials during execution of all structures.

  • The geotechnical laboratory with its equipment provides performance of quality control on the earth materials in order to determine the physical mechanical characteristics. The Euro Consult’s laboratory carries out following investigations:

    Furthermore, the geotechnical laboratory provides quality control of incorporated earth materials as well as control on the existing situation on the terrain through following investigations:

    • Volume weight of the  ground with calibrated sand, MKS U.B1.016
    • Volume weight of the ground with cylinder with known volume, MKS U.B1.016

    Based on the performed laboratory testing and achieved results for physical mechanical characteristics of the materials and comparison with the required criteria, evaluation of the availability for the required layers(sub-soil, fill, tampon, sub grade for foundation) is carried out. The terrain investigation and quality control of incorporated materials provides quality of executed earth works according required criteria.

  • The asphalt laboratory with its equipment provides testing of material quality for production of asphalt mass (rock flour, stone aggregate, bitumen) providing production of asphalt mass, quality control of newly produced asphalt mass (mix composition, physical- mechanical characteristics) and control testing of incorporated asphalt layer. For control of asphalt mix quality control, following investigation are carried out:

    For quality control of incorporated asphalt layer following testing are carried out:

    • Measuring of layer evenness, EN 13036-7
    • Extracting of undisturbed layer samples
    • Measuring of layer thickness
    • Evaluation of layer adhesion

    All laboratory testing for quality control of the asphalt mix and determining of the compaction degree are carried out from the undisturbed samples.

    Based upon the laboratory test results and terrain investigation as well as the comparison with the valid standards and technical specification, the quality of the asphalt mix and quality of performed asphalt layers has been determined.

  • Equipped concrete laboratory provides testing of material quality used as components for production of concrete (stone aggregate, water, cement) production of concrete job mix formula for different type of concrete, control of the fresh concrete and testing of mechanical characteristic of the hard concrete.

    The control of the fresh concrete mass is provided through:

    Mechanical characteristics of the stiffened concrete are tested on previously produced concrete cubes as well as on already performed structures through:
